We want to inform you of new tariff increases on imports from China, Canada, and Mexico, effective March 4, 2025. Below are the key details based on recent executive actions.

China Tariff Increase
On March 3, 2025, President Trump signed an amendment to the Executive Order from February 1, increasing the tariff on all goods from China from 10% to 20%, effective March 4, 2025.
Per official guidance from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), all products cleared on or after March 4, 2025, are subject to the 20% tariff. However, the existing exemption remains in place for products that departed China before February 1, 2025, and are cleared for consumption before March 7, 2025—these will not be subject to the increased rate.
Canada and Mexico Tariff Implementation
On March 3, 2025, President Trump signed an Executive Order removing the pause on previous orders, thereby levying a 25% tariff on all products from Canada and Mexico, effective on or after 12:01 a.m. on March 4, 2025. An exception applies to “imports of energy or energy resources from Canada,” which will be subject to a 10% tariff instead.
